Milk Bubble Tea Recipe (Original and Jasmine Milk Tea)

For all the milk bubble tea lovers at home, this simple recipe is for you! This recipe applies to: 

1. Original Assam Milk Tea

2. Jasmine Milk Tea

  • 1 serving cup (500-700ml capacity)
  • 1 tea bag of chosen tea leaves
  • 1 1/4 cup (300ml) of hot water
  • 3 tbsps creamer powder OR 100ml liquid creamer
  • 2 tbsps sweetener of choice
  • 1-2 cups of Ice (or as necessary)
  • 1/3 cup of tapioca pearls (or topping of choice --> instructions on its packaging)


  1. Add tea bag + hot water into your serving cup (or to the bottom of the Retea logo).
  2. Steep tea for 10 mins (+/- 5 mins for a stronger or milder flavour).
  3. While waiting for tea to steep, follow instructions to make your topping of choice.
  4. Add sweetener and creamer into the hot tea, mix until dissolved.
  5. Add ice and shake/stir until the tea is cooled (or to the top of the Retea logo).
  6. Add your toppings and top off with more ice as necessary to serve!
