Retea is Taking an Indefinite Pause 🤍

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to share this… 🥺

Retea has been such a big part of my life for so long, and this update comes with a mix of pride, gratitude, and uncertainty. 

It felt important to be honest and to share this moment with the community that has been here through every season over the past 6.5 years.

I started Retea almost 7 years ago while I was still in school.

It grew with me.
It became my full-time job.
It’s been most of what I’ve known.

Last year, we reached a milestone I am still incredibly proud of!! We opened our first warehouse & hired a team, something that felt like a HUGE step forward after years of building Retea from the ground up.

Around the same time, my life began to change in a big way. I found out I was pregnant, and by the end of the year, I had welcomed a baby into my life. My sense of time, energy, and capacity shifted more than I expected it to. 

Between caring for a newborn, running a warehouse, and wanting to financially support my family, I had to be honest with myself. I do not have the capacity right now to grow a business and be fully present in this new season of life.

Because of this, I have decided to PAUSE Retea and not renew our warehouse lease for the time being. This break is indefinite, which means I do not yet know when I will be back or what Retea will look like in the future.

Thank you for being such a kind, supportive, and meaningful community. This space (and all of you) have meant more to me than I can put into words 😭  I love our communiTEA deeply and will always be grateful for the support, kindness, and encouragement you have shown me over the years!!!!
